My Mother taught me to sew when I was a little girl. We shared many happy times in the sewing room and I absorbed her passion for sewing.
I started quilting in 1997. I took a beginner class from Laura Nownes at Thimble Creek Quilt Shop in Walnut Creek. I loved it and have been quilting ever since.
I bought my first Handi Quilter long arm machine in 2006. In May of 2013 I upgraded to the Avante 18 Handi Quilter machine. I have traveled to Handi Quilter headquarters in Bountiful Utah for many years taking classes and retreats.
I embroider on my Bernina 780. Bernina is the only company that is still family owned.
